Oman Dental Conference Discusses Updates
of Profession, Modern Treatment Techniques
Muscat, 5 November 2026 (ONA) — Acting
in cooperation with Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and Oman Dental College, Oman
Dental Society is organizing Oman Dental Conference 2026 during the period from 5 to
7 November. The event sees the participation of local, regional and
international dentistry professionals.
The opening ceremony was held under
the patronage of Dr. Said bin Harib Al Lamki, Undersecretary of the Ministry of
Health for Health Affairs.
During the ceremony, Al Lamki opened
an exhibition showcasing the products of 30 local, regional and international
private-sector companies.
The conference is bringing together nearly 500
dentistry professionals from Oman, GCC states and other Arab countries, as well
as international experts.
The event seeks to promote ongoing
medical education, facilitate the exchange of expertise, support research and
innovation, develop national professional competencies, enhance the quality of
oral and dental healthcare services and improve patient safety within the
Sultanate of Oman.
The conference dedicates space for
researchers and dentistry students through an e-poster competition and a
“Young Podium” session for research presentations organized in cooperation
with Oman Dental College.
